Our team work well together, offering a friendly and relaxed enviroment, while providing quality, professional treatments. We truly are a close family, that enjoy working and spending time together, which creates a unique and enjoyable atmosphere for our clients.

History

Curiosity Corner was our first challenge in 2010, starting at 50 King Street in Great Yarmouth, and soon moving to 170 King Street, closer to town centre. We enjoyed meeting weird and wonderful folk from all walks of life, some of which are still clients now. During this period we specialised in Nemesis Now, Alchemy, body jewellery, as well as many home fragrances, and unique gifts.

The name Urban Oasis was established in 2012, when a small salon appeared at 1 st. Peters Road. After just 1 year we expanded to 3a Market Gates. After transforming an old chippy into our gift shop, the remaining restaurant became our salon. Now holding 8 Sunbeds, 2 beauty rooms, a dedicated spray tan room, and a hair salon, still with more to come...

In 2017 Urban Oasis opened in Gorleston, with the same determination and hard work, a very run down and neglected shop was purpose built to create 4 sunbed rooms, a vibroplate area, and retail area downstairs, with a hair salon and 2 beauty rooms upstairs.

Sadly Covid 19 hit, and at the end of 2020 we made the hard decision to close our Gorleston branch permanently. Although we felt disappointed, we were not defeated, and having extra time on our hands we pushed forward to create a bigger and better Urban Oasis Great Yarmouth. During the third lockdown extra sunbed rooms were created, and the beauty room moved. The whole salon has been refurbished, and we are slowing working on the first floor - recently we have added a double Japanese Head Spa room, and a large multi purpose function room that can be rented hourly.

On top of all of this, our salon has a 5* food rating, and premise licence, enabling us to offer cocktails, spirits, coffee, panini's, and much more...

We hope you can appreciate all our hard work, and we would love for you to enjoy it as much as we do, thank you to all the amazing people that have seen us grow, and supported us every step of the way.

Not only has the salon expanded, with more hair, beauty and nail treatments being added to our price list regularly, but we still have our giftware, including Alchemy, Wild Things, crystals, aromatherapy lamps, and so much more...
